Liner Notes

The music originated instinctively whilst being played live.
There was no concept for the composition before, only a kaleidoscope of sounds stemming from the given instruments.

The music of this CD is dedicated to the caves at the Cubik-Event near Zurich. A gloomy atmosphere was created by the vast and dark surrounding. Wire-mesh separated the audience from me and gave the feeling of being an exotic animal making strange noises in its cage surrounded by spectators.

"Namlook VI was at a strange place... like a huge bunker... the room was only 2,30m high the room was like 1000 square meters... during improvising through my set I found the resonance tone and played with it... it came back and build up...the crowd was completely fascinated and "got caught in the loop"... was a perfect moment but at the same time it transported the "cave" feeling... dark, vast space."
