about

"Electronic Impresionism Environmental Music"
Excerpts from the Seasons Greetings series.

The Four Seasons series by Pete Namlook comprises a set of individual CDs focused on each season. Beginning in the early months of 1994 with "Seasons Greetings =Winter=," this collection has developed into a successful representation of all four seasons. It presents a well-balanced and distinctive approach, encapsulating Peter's genuine interpretation of the Ambient genre in a clear and explicit manner. Emulating the style of the great impressionist composers from the late 19th century, Namlook improvised based on the sensations evoked by each season. These interpretations were skillfully brought to life using contemporary instruments such as synthesizers, ring modulators, and the integration of environmental sounds.
